Kathy Domen, M.S., Owner

After working in the computer industry for over 20 years, Kathy went back to school and completed the Mission College Personal Training and the Foothill College Adaptive Fitness Specialist Career Certificate Programs.

Kathy is also an Advanced-Level Stott Pilates Trained Instructor, and she has Instructor Certifications for Spinning, Kranking and TRX Suspension Training.

Kathy started lifting weights at age 15 while competing in swimming. In college she was an All-American ranked swimmer. Kathy had the good fortune to receive in-depth education on Weight Training Principles and Routines, which solidified her strength training knowledge. Kathy readily applies this knowledge to the development of her clients.

The Pilates Environment

Principles

Domen Strength Pilates was founded upon the premise of offering "small Pilates class sizes" which enables every client to receive a customized Pilates workout, as no two people are alike. The Pilates studio is NOT shared with any other Pilates instructors, so only ONE Pilates class takes place at-a-time. Training at Domen Strength is exclusive. This allows you to relax, be yourself, and have fun while working toward your fitness goals without having to worry about distractions.

The Pilates instructions are explained in easy-to-understand concepts. You experience highest quality training sessions in a safe personal setting. Pilates classes are offered throughout the morning and early afternoon hours on a daily basis.
